We have had an amazing stay. The studio has exceeded expectations, you really have thought of everything! It felt like a home from home.
The apartment, suitable for one or two people, is on the ground floor with direct street access. The contemporary-styled open plan interior runs across the front of the building with three windows overlooking Loch Indaal.
There are two sofas arranged around an open fireplace plus an HD TV with FreeSat, a DVD player, iPod dock and free WiFi.
The sleeping area is adjacent to the open plan living area and has a double bed and ample storage space. At the rear of the Studio is the dining kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washer and dryer. A door from the kitchen leads to a small private patio area behind Temperance House.
The Studio has underfloor heating throughout and has a shower room with walk-in shower.
Temperance House takes its name from the Temperance Hotel which was located in the building last century. The hotel was later converted into a family home with a Bakery on the ground floor.
We purchased the property in 2011. After extensive refurbishment, the original house has been converted into two high standard self-catering apartments located in the heart of the picturesque conservation village of Port Charlotte.
Temperance House is our much-loved holiday home which we are delighted to make available to visitors.
